    • Arthur Martin was the son of Arthur and Jane Martin, of 75 North View Drive, Westcliff-on-Sea, Essex, England. AWMM
    • His elder brother, Private Harry Haynes Martin also fell. [08/08/1915]. He was 27 and served with the Wellington Regiment, N.Z.E.F., Service Number 10/2233.
