  • Honouring my Great Uncle George, shot down over Arras while serving as gunner on an FE 2b plane. (*note; a rebuilt FE 2b, an extraordinary rear propeller craft, now flies the NZ skies, as can be seen via The Vintage aviator site. The gunner stood, completely exposed, in the nose).
