  • Herbert was great uncle to my friend Rosanne. I visited his grave at Tyne Cot Cemetery in September 2016, placing a poppy on his grave and a cross I made from flax from NZ. It was early in the morning, misty, no one else there and very peaceful. Almost 99 years before it would have been a very different scene. So glad to have been there to honour him.
