  • D'Arcy was the father of William (Bill) and Paul. Paul later became Governor General of NZ (1985 - 1990). D'Arcy was a Motorman on the trams in Wellington after the war. He died early aged 50, his health was never good after the war. D'Arcy had 4 grandaughters and has 8 great grandchildren.
