    Reported wounded in action, 4 November 1918 (gun shot wound, right thigh); admitted to 56th General Hospital, 9 November 1918; transferred to England, and admitted to Bethnal Green Military Hospital, 13 November 1918; transferred to NZ Convalescent Hospital, Hornchurch, 21 November 1918.
    Commenced return to New Zealand from Glasgow on board SS 'Bhamo', 4 March 1919; discharged, 23 May 1919.
