    Clarence was working at the Farmers Freezing Company, Auckland before he enlisted. He and his wife, Louisa are listed at living at Western Springs Road, Morningside. Auckland.

    Attested in Trentham 20 September 1916

    Accidentally killed by a premature shell burst whilst practising live firing

    His son Clarence Ralph was born in Te Kuiti on the 20 August 1917. Louisa moved to Ohaupo, Waikato, Wanganui and in 1926 is listed as living again in Auckland at Papakura AWMM
