    CHRISTENSEN, Thomas (Veteran of WW1). On October 1, 1971, at Parua Bay (suddenly), dearly loved husband of Edith, loved father & father-in-law of Iris & Paddy, Morresey, Gwen & Jack Herman, Noel & Rae Christensen, May & Tom Lock, Fay & Des Attwood, Athol & June Christensen and the late Roy; also loved Grandpa of Trevor, Gordon, Evelyn, Tessa & Norman, Paddy and Julie, Shirley & Paul, Lynda, Rodney, Judy, Neil, Murray, Noeline, Ian, Peter, Lyn, Sheryl, Dianne and Paula and great-grandpa of Susan, Vicki, Shirley and Patrick: aged 73. A service will be held in Newberry’s Chapel, 180 Bank St, Whangarei, at 2.30pm tomorrow (Tuesday), a prior to private cremation. No flowers, by request.
