    • Inkerman Berry was the brother of Mrs. Barkwith, of 9, Shelly St., Sydenham, Christchurch. AWMM
    • Private Inkerman Berry, killed in action, was a son of the late Mr H. Berry, of Antigua Street, a veteran of the Crimean war. He was 35 years of age, and was educated at the West Christchurch School.

      He enlisted with the 6th Reinforcement. He took part in the Gallipoli campaign and was wounded last December. His next of kin is Mrs Barkwith, a sister, residing at 132 Antigua Street.
