  • Kia-Orana Papa Kainuku,

I am your Great grand-daughter, Inangaro. My Father is Mataroa Mataroa, eldest son of your daughter Rite. Seeing your photo puts a face to the stories Nana has told me about you, she misses you and Mama deeply. I feel that she is to you how I am with my own father... Daddy's girl, even though I don't know you in person, I feel connected just as much. Thank you for all you have done to keep us alive and safe today, your service in the war will be remembered every year and your life will be an inspiration to all your greats.
