  • Tiakana Potai is my maternal granduncle. Rangi maru te i’o ata married Potai and they had Ka’o (m), Tutapakore (f) and Ti’akana (m). Tutapakore (stand without falling – or immovable) married Oiaua Koroiti of Tamarua Mangaia - a half Vietnamese and Mangaia man and they had Ngatoko’a alias Papa Nga, Mata (f,) Ngere (f,) and my mum Tutaunga Rose Paeara (stand like a Priest ) who married Tongia Unuia, my dad.
