  • Rest in Peace. Ernest, and his brother Allan Michael Murphy (KIA France, October 8th,1918), were second cousins of my late mother. Grandchildren of Edward Murphy and his wife Margaret(nee Mannion) from Rockhill, Headford, Co Galway, Ireland, who emigrated to NZ in 1880. Edward's sister Bridget was my great-grandmother.
