  • Papa Ngaia,

You fought hard for a future free of oppression because you believed that a world like that could exist. And for being able to think of me, of my family, of your future is something that even the greatest of men struggle to do. Thank you.

You came from a small island unknown to many. But you showed that courage isn't defined by where you come from, yet it defined by where your deepest and most purest of intentions originate.

You make me feel proud to bear your surname even though I have not yet met you, your legacy has lived on in our family for over 100 years.

Thank you Papa, for ensuring the safety of my future, my family's future, YOUR family's future. We will never forget you, for as long as our line continues.

  • Though we have never met, I am honored to know that there was a WARRIOR of my bloodline, who continued in the path of his ancestors, to serve and protect, as his people had once been called upon many times, so many generations ago. What a great honor!!! In your homeland ENUAMANU, The land of the Birds one of the 15 stars of the Cook Islands, ATIU, amongst your direct descendants you are not forgotten. IN GODS HANDS MAY YOU REST YOUR WEARY SOUL UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN
