  • Leslie and Frances Nicholls had two children, Margaret Eva on 21 October 1914 and John Alexander Gordon William on 15 November 1917.

    Embarked for New Zealand aboard Kia Ora at Liverpool 27 March 1919.

    Leslie Nicholls served with the New Zealand Military Forces in World War II.

    He enlisted on 9 July 1940, entered camp 10 January 1942 and was discharged on 10 October 1942. AWMM
