    • He was the son of Herbert Oberlin & Agnes BROWN (nee Mason). His brother also enlisted - Hubert Nigel Oberlin Brown (13/170)

      On 25th August 1913, he married Annabella Margaret ‘Ella’ FINLAYSON. After the war they settled and farmed in Ngararatunua. They had six children – Angus (1914), Hubert (b1917), Patricia (b1918), Nancy (b1920), Arthur (b1922) and Geraldine (b1928).
