  • He served in the Boer War ( 22373 ) has medals for service in the Orange Free State, Cape Colony and Transvaal with the 33 rd Coy Imp Yeo. Died 29th July 1922 in Dannevirke aged 40 years of Influenza and Meningitis. He is buried in the Dannevirke Cemetery.

  • A Grandfather I never knew and only found his grave site a short while ago. I have his service medals (Boer War Orange Free State and Cape Colony ) as well as his World War 1 service medals and discharge papers. He is buried in Dannevirke Cemetary and died at age 42 of consumption. This information I have from his death certificate.
