  • I knew Mary Selina when she was married to my Great Uncle Charles Norman. I met her several times at Whangarei and in Sydney between 1950 and 1972 - when she died. She used to play the piano and inspired me to do the same - she said it kept her fingers nimble. She met and married my uncle Charles after the Gallipolli campaign when Charlie was injured and she nursed him to better health. I admired her greatly.
