  • Your contribution and the sacrifices and hardships that you and your comrades endured have ensured that my generation and that of your grandchildren, enjoy the privilege of democracy and freedom. I don't take for granted nor do I forget that the comfort and peace we enjoy today, is due to the sweat, toil, hardship and suffering you and others endured for our sakes.
