  • Walter Ormsby was the son of George and Christine Ormsby, of Patea, Taranaki, New Zealand. Native of Greymouth, New Zealand Also served in Egypt.

    Increased age at attestation, form had his birth date as 20 January 1895, and his age at enrolment was therefore listed as 20. This is incorrect and his birth date was three years later.

    Died aged 18 years 8 months

    Name was wrongly spelt as Walker in the Nominal Roll AWMM
