    • Ernest Orr was the son of John William and Elizabeth A. Orr, of Kaitangiweka, Taumarunui, New Zealand.

      New Zealand at the Front ( a magazine written and published and illustrated in France by men of the New Zealand Division) 1917 issue, page141. AWMM
    • Ernest killed 7 June 1917, his brother Henry William killed the following day 8 June 1917. Both are named on the Inglewood Cenotaph.
