  • Verna Jean Livingston was a scholarly person - a spinster, who was widely admired at her places of work and for the community work and involvement in the community activities. She was quite an artist and I have a card in black ink on white, showing native plants. She travelled to Scotland although I cannot trace her movements at the moment.
