  • My late mother informed me that Mavis Murray had been her friend all through nursing training at Masterton Hospital, Wairarapa. To that end I was named after Mavis. Murray Howie LISTER, DOB 25.09.44. As a lad I was always told of her Award, which I have discovered through this site, was as an Associate of the Royal Red Cross. RIP Mavis.
