    • Harold Parsons was the son of James and Mary Jane Parsons. Native of Gisborne, New Zealand. AWMM
    • Oct 1916 - Lance-Corporal Harold Parsons, reported wounded, was a Gisborne member of the 13th Reinforcements. He was employed in Messrs Murray and Williams' warehouse when he enlisted. Lance-Corporal Parsons was a member of the Gisborne Rowing Club, and he served in the local territorial forces. His brother Reg.
