    • Dardanelles Hero
      Alexander Black was born in a small Southland farming community called Waimatuku between Invercargill and Riverton, New Zealand. He was a motor mechanic before he joined up. Alexander Black had gray brown eyes and light brown hair. He was killed in action at Dardanelles.
