Trieste via Fabriano, Perugia and other stops to Bari by truck. Bari to Alexandria by troopship 'Georgic'. Alexandria to maadi by truck. Port Tewfic to Wellington via Melbourne on Strathmore. Wellington to Auckland, and journeys end, by train - a total covering 2 years and 10 months.
