  • Geoffrey Wallace Bibby was called up for service in 1941, and served with the New Zealand Field Artillery, in 1943 he transferred to the Royal New Zealand Air Force. While in the UK with the Royal Air Force, he met his future wife Beryl Roberts, a Lance Corporal in the ATS (Auxiliary Territorial Service), they returned to New Zealand together and had three children, a son and two daughters.

    In the 1950s Bibby retuned to the UK and rejoined the Royal Air Force where we worked with the Air Defence. When he returned to New Zealand he taught at Hereworth School, Scots College and the Woodford House. Member of the Napier RSA. AWMM
