  • Mr Bond was the son of Henry Dozell Bond and Estella Elaine Bond (nee Norman). He was educated at Taihape Primary School and Nelson College. He married Ruby Alice Crimp at Taihape and they had three children: Carol Anne 12 May 1951, Rex Douglas 28 March 1952 and Murray James 27 April 1954.



    He served on minesweepers in New Zealand waters. AWMM
