    BLISS, Kenneth Vivian (Ken). (RNZAF 4214338). Passed peacefully at Pukekohe Hospital on Friday September 29th 2017, aged 94. Loving husband of Yvonne (nee Scott; deceased) for 51 years. Beloved father of Scott and wife Suzanne, Rhonda, Karen and husband John Warren, and Gary (deceased). Proud Poppa of Shardonnay, Shantelle and husband Richard Currie, Suzette and partner Laura Cliffe, Alastair, Peter (deceased), Bella and husband Nic Van Hattum, and Stephanie. Great Poppa of Larissa, Ashton, Zoey, Rosie and Violet. Ken saw active service with the RNZAF as a radio mechanic at Guadalcanal, Bougainville and the Admiralty Islands. Ken graduated with a BSc from Victoria University and went on to teach at Wellington College before appointment as HOD Science Pukekohe HS in 1969 until retiring in 1985. Inaugural member of Pukekohe Probus and active on RSA and Buckland Bowling Club. Viewing at 1.00 p.m. and funeral service at 2.00 p.m. at Pukekohe RSA, Edinburgh Street on Friday 6th October, followed by private cremation. Donations may be made in memory of Ken to the Salvation Army, PO Box 538, Pukekohe. Communications to the Bliss family C/- Grahams Funeral Services, West Street, Tuakau 2121.
