  • Mother: A F Davey

    Married Jocelyn Clarke, a schoolteacher, in 1951.

    In March 1953 Henry was successful in drawing a farm in the Returned Serviceman's Ballot. The farm was at Upper Atiamuri in the Rotorua District.

    Went to Tauranga in 1970 as General Manager in farming business.

    Mr Henry Davey and his wife worked in PNG for NZVSA (NZ Volunteer Services Abroad) between 1978 and 1980.

    In 1981 Henry suffered from a stroke and has not been able to speak since. Mr and Mrs Davey have 5 children, 16 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. AWMM
