      After leaving the service he worked as a Recruitment Consultant in England from 1977 to 1986 AWMM
    • His father, George Edgar Gibbs was born 30 Sep 1881 in Broken Bow, Custer County, Nebraska, United States of America. George left the US on a merchant ship. He served with the English Lancer Regiment in the Boer War. He was naturalized as a NZ citizen in Aug 1912.
