    In a letter to the Armoury Manager dated 4 November 1998 Mr Reg Huff writes. 'If the Italians gave me a POW number, then has long been forgotten. The number 139794 was barked at me by a German officer, and from then on it seemed that I must never be allowed to forget it.'
