  • During the war Major General Pearce was awarded Member of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (MBE) and Officer of the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire (OBE)

    After the war Major General Pearce was awarded: - Commander of the most Excellent Order of the British Empire (CBE) and Companion of the most Honourable Order of the Bath (CB)

    Cenotaph record initially prepared with the serviceman in 1999. The nominal rolls lists the number of 23737 with the rank of CSM. At embarkation date General Pearce records his number as 30070 and his rank as Warrant Officer Class 2.
