  • Husband of Beryl, married in 1939; father of Chris and Gay

Details in the Nominal Roll differ from the account provided by Cyril Pasco in 1999: address at embarkation is listed as 148 Bealey Avenue, Christchurch, New Zealand and his occupation is listed as musician

Mr Pasco served in 25 Battalion but was seconded to the Kiwi Concert Party.

A veteran, Mr Robinson, wrote in response to an obituary written by Cyril Pasco for Gordon Kirk-Burnand (31402) in the RSA Review "Dear Cyril, I read with interest your tribute to Gordon Kirk-Burnand in the Review. I was in F Troop 26 Battery and sailed too with you on Empress of Canada...I have happier memories of other occasions, your playing your violin on the way down to Wellington to embark, your swinging mess calls with another trumpeter by name of Ken Suckling .. and the company we shared in those earlier days".

Cenotaph record initially prepared with the serviceman in 1999.

Other items relating to the Kiwi Concert Party are held by the National Army Museum, Waiouru. AWMM
