Mr Rennie who was involved in the retaking of Bougainville from the Japanese says ' this was the RNZAF supporting Australian Army Division - a true ANZAC Force, a rare combination in WWII.'

As he says 'I was very proud to have our efforts recognised by War Correspondents during the Campaign.'
