  • I went down to the cenotaph for Dawn parade today and tears welled up in my eyes thinking of how young and how far away you are from your home and family here in NZ.. I hope to come visit you some day in the where you lay and tell you how much we miss you and love you. You died on the 17th Sept the same day yr GT GT Nephew Damian was born. I am not the only one who remembers you dear GT Uncle Richard and I will tell Nana (yr sister) and Aunty Diane who are also at peace in Tauranga that you like them are not forgotten and most treasured with them our my hearts xx May the flowers bloom bright and the grass sway gently and the sun shine down to embrace your grave and surround you with love xx Arohanui Uncle xx Kiri
