  • Hello Nana,
This year's Anzac day has a theme - Women in Service. So, from one woman in service to another once in service, I wanted to acknowledge you especially this year. Thanks for the service you gave and your inspiration to me Nana. I have recently received my medal and bars to mark 9 years with Fire Emergency New Zealand. I wear them with pride and this is a tradition for women in our family you have started! The first and last time I wore a medal Nana it was one of yours and I wore it to the Anzac Day centenary celebration.
I will follow up a copy of the photo of you in your WAAF uniform to add to this site when I can.
    Love, Eva xx
