  • On Special Duties List and went to the UK in march 1954, arriving on the 19th of April 1954. Attached to the Royal Air Force, attending the School of Technical Training, graduating 6th out of 167, in April 1957. Ceased to be attached and returned to New Zealand on the 23rd May 1957. Recieved Air Navigators Badge on 24th of April 1959. Went to Singapore with the 75 Squadron (Canberra) on the 17th August 1960. Died whilst on a night navigation exercise with 75 Squadron, RNZAF.
