  • Hubert Fair PINK was my great uncle. He was one of four brothers that served in WW1. Hubert was killed at Lone Pine Hill, Gallipoli on 25 April 1915. His body was never recovered. He is the only brother that died during the war, although his brother Henry died in 1922 (the family story is that he died from mustard gas).
