  • Robert Hall born 9 July 1873 in Roosky, District of Clones, County Monaghan, Ireland. Emigrated aged 5 years from Ireland to Spring Creek, Marlborough, NZ on board the Fern Glen 11 Oct 1878 from Plymouth, arrived Wellington 5 Jan 1879. Robert Served in the NZ 5th Contingent at the Boer War - No. 2480 Sgt. Farrier. He attended the Coronation of King Edward VII in the NZ Contingent on the 9 Aug 1902.
