    • 25 June 1915 - News was received to-day of the death at Ashburton of Mrs Wallace, relict of the late Mr James Wallace, of Gishorne. Mrs Wallace, after a residence of 32 years in this district, left here about three years ago to live with her daughters and son at Ashhurton. She had been in failing health of late and the death of her son, Ormond, hastened her end. The surviving family consists of Messrs James and.
