  • I cannot contribute anything about this man except to say he was my great grandfathers brother and I only found this in doing my family tree, what a sad time it must have been. I would love to find a photo of him.

    Report
  • I am researching soldiers for a book -"WWI Lost Soldiers of the Far North. Due to be printed mid 2019. John Povey is one of the soldiers to be included. I would like family details, siblings names and a photo of John if possible. I understand he enlisted very young, only 16 and was killed in Belgium on 30-April 1917. Any other relevant family information would help the story too. Can you please email me. My name is Kaye Dragicevich, email: dragicevich@xtra.co.nz Please make contact.
