Trooper John William Malcolm - born Nelson, New Zealand  of the 2nd Contingent - arriving at New Zealand (1900) after being medically invalided from South Africa to New Zealand. He would later serve again - with the 6th Contingent - at South Africa (1901) but was again medically invalided home to New Zealand with Enteric Fever.
