      Father was named Richard Monk. AWMM
    • His family lived at Conway Flat, they ran the accommodation house there and had some land. Margaret Letitia was born in Corkhill, Ireland, 28 November 1838 ( no records on how she got to NZ) She married Richard Monk in Wellington, he was born in Minchinhampton, England 13 March 1829, came here on a whaler.
