    • Frank Pugh was the son of Mr. and Mrs. William Pugh, of 525 Manchester St., St. Albans, Christchurch, New Zealand. AWMM
    • "Corporal Frank Guthrie Pugh, died of wounds in France on September 25, was the youngest son of Mr William Pugh and brother of Mrs S. W. Ayers, 76 Canon Street, St. Albans.

      He was educated at the East Christchurch School, and prior to enlisting was employed in the railway service. He was for some time in charge of the Opawa Railway Station. He left New Zealand with the New Zealand Rifle Brigade."   • Frank Guthrie Pugh was my great Uncle. When I found out where he was buried I visited his grave. My husband and I were the first to ever pay our respects. We have visited many times and each time left a poppy. I shared photos with his nieces and nephews.
