  • Pullin lived in New Zealand for 11 years before enlistment.

    He was a Captain in the Salvation Army, and he entered the Training Garrison in 1914. He was stationed at Port Chalmers, Palmerston South and Herbert.

    Marched into Sling in OIR on 21 May 1917.

    Left for France 21 June 1917 and marched into Etaples 23 June 1917.

    Joined OIR, 14th Company in field on 9 July 1917.

    Transferred to NZ Rifle Brigade 20 February 1918

    He was then posted to A Company in field after being on leave to UK on 4 April 1918. AWMM
