    • Reported in the Chronicles of the N.Z.E.F, 14.2.1917, p.284, that Trooper Quintal is a prisoner of war in Turkey and gives his address as Afion Kara Hissar.

      Quintal is mentioned in a statement made by Private Martin (7/869a) on 13 December 1918, regarding capture and experience as a POW. The document is held on ACF50384 a paper file in the Armoury Information Centre.
