  • Charles was the son of Mary McIntosh and George Mackie Williamson of Mataura, Southland. Charles married in 1909 to Clementina Sarah Sizemore Summers of Waikouaiti. They settled at Basalt Hill, Duntroon and had 2 sons born in their marriage, Alven Edgar and Rodney Kenneth both born in Wanganui. Charles was widowed in 1940 and remarried to Janet (nee ?) His early working life was spent as a farm labourer and he later became a farmer. Charles died in 1964 aged 82 and is buried at Duntroon Cemetery.
