  • Timoti, of Ngatimahuta is named in the 'Journal of Events' published in The Taranaki Herald of 10 November 1860. The paper reports the new information as "the following chiefs were also among the slain on Tuesday, and that several natives died after getting near to, and at Huirangi'. He is an additional named casualty and is not mentioned in other publications.
