    Report
  • John left home to be a cadet in the Army when he was 16.We were a family of service people with our Dad,Desmond Taylor Barkle, being a career solider,as well as our Uncles-Clifford Barkle and Neville Barkle. I was 9 when John left home so my memories of him and our Dad are always surrounded in the Khaki of the Army uniform they both wore with pride. I was very proud of them both. Rest in Peace.
