    • Brian's siblings were Hilda Mary Rawnsley, Roderick Henry Rawnsley and Ivan Edward Rawnsley whose profile on this cenotaph is I. E. Rawnsley. Brian's father was Richard Edward Dutton Rawnsley. Mother Ethel Mary Rawnsley nee Duret. Ethel was originally from England and Richard was born in India. Richard's mother was Mary Rawnsley and his father was Captain Edward John Rawnsley of the 108th Regiment, Madras Infantry, based in Madras, India to participate in the Anglo Boer War. Edward sailed to India from Gravesend, London on 24th Feb 1846 aboard the ship Madagascar.   • Corporal B.D. Rawnsley is recorded on the Roll of Honour Board of the 1st Kelburn 1909 Scout Group based in the Botanic Gardens, Wellington as a Kelburn Scouts Asst Scout Master who enlisted for Active Service in WW1, and who had 'Gone Home', the Scout symbol for having died.
