  • Dear Grandad,
Thank You for being a good father to me. Thank You for loving us as we were. I now know how traumatic it was for you serving in the War. Heavenly Father positioned you where he needed you, he never left your side Grandad. You loved me with all your good and happy days. I remember the songs that made you cry, I now know they were from the War. Thank You for serving us our country, our Iwi and our people. You would be so proud of us now grandad, life is so good and we are very thankful and obedient because of what you instilled in me. By the way me and your great grandson Arthur are very sharp shooters. I went to a shooting range, and my girlfriend called me a “sniper” I was only using a pistol?? I can’t remember the name of it. Arthur won $20 for shooting the longest best target at school camp, I believe he beat the local hunting boys! Thank You for choosing me. Tu Tangata!
